Beneath every symptom is a story worth understanding.
I help women diagnosed with ADHD later in life move from a lifetime of self-blame, masking, and overcompensation to self-understanding, self-trust, and sustainable ADHD-friendly living — by addressing what's underneath the symptoms, not just the symptoms themselves.
bright paths, brighter possibilities ✨The stories you've been telling yourself aren't the whole story.
Her belief is usually some version of "I am the problem, so I need to fix myself." The ADHD Iceberg introduces a different possibility: what if you're not failing — what if you just haven't understood what's happening underneath the struggle yet?
The visible symptoms are just the tip.
You can keep trying to manage what's happening above the surface — but lasting change happens when you finally understand and address what's underneath it.
Three outcomes, one brighter relationship with yourself.
Deep Self-Understanding
You finally understand yourself through the lens of ADHD, not personal failure — connecting the dots between your ADHD and what's been happening beneath the surface for years: shame, overwhelm, perfectionism, masking, and self-criticism.
Lasting Self-Trust
You rebuild a relationship with yourself based on trust instead of criticism, doubt, and fear — trusting your needs, decisions, capacity, and ability to follow through, or reset when you don't. Self-trust is the emotional centerpiece of this work.
Sustainable, ADHD-Friendly Living
You build a life that works with your ADHD brain instead of constantly fighting it — trading rigid expectations and exhausting overcompensation for systems, routines, and boundaries built around how your brain actually works.
Five transformations. One path from surviving to trusting yourself.

Your guide beneath the surface.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Cottier Coaching. I've been in the field since 2013, and my path has taken me through nearly every corner of mental health care — starting at Hillside Children's Center working with children and adolescents, then as a Care Manager on the insurance side of behavioral health at Fidelis, in medical social work at Fresenius, in psychiatric emergency care through Rochester Regional Health's CPEP program, and as a primary therapist at Genesee County Mental Health Clinic.
Six years ago I opened my own private practice, where I've spent my time sitting with people as they untangle the patterns underneath their hardest days — including many years working with ADHD across nearly every one of those settings, in kids, teens, and adults alike.
I built The ICEBERGS Method™ for women who were diagnosed with ADHD later in life — women who are tired of productivity hacks that don't stick, and ready for coaching that finally addresses what's underneath the struggle, not just the struggle itself.
Let's find your bright path.
You're not too much, and you're not broken — you just haven't had support built for your brain. That changes with The ICEBERGS Method™.
